DUKE HOST GENERAL CONDITIONS

RESERVATION AND CANCELLATION POLICY
At DUKE Host, we aim to provide you with the best possible experience when booking our apartments. Our cancellation policy may vary depending on the specific apartment, and you can find the details in the respective apartment's listing. However, we offer free cancellations for reservations made from the day of booking up to 5 days before your check-in date.

No refunds will be provided if the client voluntarily decides to discontinue using the services included in the holiday before the scheduled end of their stay.

DAMAGE DEPOSIT
Before arrival, we will request a damage deposit, the amount of which will be specified in the apartment's listing. This deposit must be paid with a credit card and will be refunded within 7 days after your departure, provided the apartment is in good condition. Any damages will be deducted from this deposit.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT
Our check-in time is between 3:00 p.m. and 23:00 p.m.
Check-out must be at 11:00 a.m. or earlier.

Penalty for late check-out

Please be aware that failure to check-out by the specified time may result in a penalty. Late check-out penalties range from 30€ to 50€, depending on the extent of the delay. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to these check-out timings. 

CHANGES BY THE COMPANY
In case the accommodation could not be occupied because of unforeseen reasons, not attributable to the company, the company has the right to substitute the original accommodation by other with the same or superior characteristics, without any additional payment.

MINORS POLICY

To ensure the safety and well-being of all guests, minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult during their stay. Prior to the arrival, all occupants, as of 14 years old, must provide identification. A document certifying legal guardianship of minors under 14 years of age may be requested. If a minor is staying with a non-familiar adult, proof of parental consent or guardian authorization should be provided. DUKE Host reserves the right to refuse accommodation if this policy is not adhered to.

SMOKING POLICY

Strict No Smoking Policy

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all DUKE Host apartments. This includes all interior spaces such as bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens, and bathrooms.

 

Exception for Exterior Spaces

Guests are permitted to smoke on balconies, terraces, or gardens if the apartment is equipped with these features. However, it is imperative that guests ensure cigarette buds are properly disposed of and not thrown on the floor.

 

Violation Consequences

Any violation of the smoking policy, including smoking inside the apartment or improper disposal of cigarette buds, is considered a breach of the terms. In such cases:

 

-       DUKE Host reserves the right to charge the security deposit of the guest.

-       Additional cleaning fees may be applied if smoking occurs inside the apartment.

 

DUKE Host acknowledges and respects guests' choices, but the strict no smoking policy is in place to maintain a clean, healthy, and comfortable environment for all guests. We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to this policy.

 

PHOTOGRAPHY AND FILMING

Guests must notify DUKE Host in advance if they intend to engage in commercial photography or filming within the apartment. Commercial purposes include, but are not limited to, promotional shoots, video productions, or any activity intended for public or commercial use.

 

Restrictions

Photography or filming of explicit or adult content, including but not limited to pornography, is strictly prohibited. Any breach of this policy may result in immediate eviction from the premises, and legal action may be pursued.

 

Guest Responsibility

Guests are responsible for ensuring that their photography or filming activities comply with local laws, regulations, and ethical standards. DUKE Host reserves the right to request copies of any content captured during the stay for review and approval.

 

PET POLICY:

No Pets Allowed

DUKE Host does not permit the presence of pets in any of our apartments. This includes, but is not limited to, cats, dogs, and other animals.

 

Exception

Service animals that are trained to perform tasks for persons with disabilities are exempt from this policy. Guests requiring the assistance of a service animal must inform DUKE Host in advance, providing necessary documentation.

 

Violation

Bringing pets into the apartment without prior approval is considered a violation of the policy. In such cases, guests may be asked to vacate the premises immediately, and additional cleaning fees may apply.

 

YOUR OBLIGATIONS
Prior to entering the accommodation, all guests must provide proof of identity by means of a valid official document.
Loud music and parties are prohibited, and quiet hours are from 10 pm to 10 am.
By booking with DUKE Host, you agree to our Terms and Conditions.

APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
Any disputes will be governed by Spanish law, and the Courts and Tribunals of Madrid, Spain, will have jurisdiction.

DATA PROTECTION (Organic Law 15/1999 of 13th December )
In compliance with the Organic Law 15/1999 of 13th December, on Protection of Personal Data ("LOPD"), we inform that, through the completion of forms, your personal details will be incorporated and held in the company files, with the purpose of being able to offer and provide you with our services. In addition, we inform you of the possibility to exercise the right of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition with regard to your personal data, the company being responsible for the file.
